About Bannister & Hunter

Originally the first survey company located on the Central Coast; Bannister & Hunter was founded in Gosford in 1924 and was registered in our current business name in 1994.

Bannister & Hunter is committed to continually improving and maintaining the quality control and cost effectiveness of our services. We have developed a quality management system to achieve these objectives which has been designed to ensure that agreed client requirements are consistently satisfied through effective planning, uniform approaches to critical work processes and verification of compliance prior to release of jobs.

All staff have been involved in the development of the quality control management system and are committed to the provision of services which satisfy our client’s needs.

Our Occupational Health and Safety policy ensures that we provide the safest possible working environment for all employees, visitors and contractors whilst on Bannister & Hunter Pty Ltd premises and worksites.

Our Staff:

Chris Eggeling

  • Chris Eggeling has been involved with Bannister and Hunter since 1972 and became a partner in 1984. Chris manages all aspects of surveying and provides valuable support and mentoring for our staff through his many years of experience in all fields of land surveying.

Peter Barclay

  • Peter Barclay has been a Registered Land Surveyor since 1975 and a partner of Bannister and Hunter since 1994. Peter provides services in planning, project management, contract supervision and surveying based on his many years of experience in the land subdivision and development industry, Peter provides services in Planning, Project Management, Contract Supervision and Surveying.Peter can be contacted at pbarclay@bannisterhunter.com.au

Ross Wales

  • Ross Wales has had extensive experience with land surveying since 1986. Ross also has experience in surveying and engineering design of large or small projects including residential, rural and community title subdivisions and multi unit strata title subdivisions. His planning and project management skills have added depth to the Bannister & Hunter team. Ross is also our Occupational Health and Safety administrator.

Phil McKay

  • Phil McKay is based in our Central Coast office and together with the directors and support staff; is responsible for conducting the daily field surveys. He has extensive experience with cadastral and engineering surveys and a high degree of IT expertise.

Mieszko Mackiewiez

  • Mieszko Mackiewiez (Meish) is a student surveyor with an integral role within Bannister & Hunter. Meish provides support to each of the principal sections within the company whilst gaining valuable experience in all facets of our work.

Peter Robinson

  • Peter Robinson is also a student surveyor and is responsible for our computer drafting and presentation of plans. Peter’s experience in computer aided drafting ensures that our surveys and designs are always presented in a highly professional manner. Peter is also gaining experience in our field activities.
